Lina is one of only three qualified Indonesian interpreters in the UK, and the only one able to do consecutive and simultaneous interpreting inIndonesian.
Lina's Indonesian translation and interpreting skill has been qualified and vetted by UK National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) since 2007.

Lina learned Bahasa Indonesian when she was 13 years yold, her parents moved to East Malaysia, Sabah, at the border of Kalimantan, Indonesia. Her father Mr Liu was a Malay and Chinese language teacher. She went to secondary school (sekolah kebangsaan) where majority of the students are half Indonesians.
"Bahasa" means "language" in Indonesian and Malay. "Bahasa Indonesia" is the official language of Indonesia which is the fourth most populated nation in the world.
Apart from Indonesia, Indonesian is also widely spoken in East Timor, an ex colony of Indonesia.
Lina interpreted for the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, Supreme Court and International Resolution Centre. She also been working as a freelance Indonesian interpreter in crown courts, magistrates courts, tribunal service all over the U.K.
CHARITY IN INDONESIA
Lina has strong ties with Bali and Lombok. She visits Bali regularly and spent some time teaching English to young children in Lombok, Indonesia.
Lina set up a charity in August 2017 to raise emergency fund for earthquake victims in Lombok. She successfully raised significant amount of money and worked closely with local volunteers to set up temporary homes for thousands of survivals before government aids arrived.
